As you probably know, an "Observatory" is usually a place where there's a big telescope, used to study the stars. No sign of that here, but Flame has done a fine job of bringing to NAB an excellent UT map, with plenty of (textured) movers, stairs, and general interesting bits. Some thorough testing with the Bots shows that this is a really fun place for a battle!

The only "however" is that, however, Flame has used the Ancient.utx texture file from UT, to give us the wonderfully mellow old stone textures etc; if you don't already have it, you need to copy itover from your UT textures folder if you have Unreal Tournament on your computer - or get someone to send it to you. Even zipped it is a hefty 6.80MB, and Tmon & Tux don't offer for downloadit because it is an official, copyrighted UT texture. Hopefully, Flame himself will upload it to a suitable site, so watch out for details...

But if you have or can get the texture, do grab this map - it's great fun to play, with lots of passageways, halls, lifts, and a fine open-air section shown in the screenshot. It all works really well!
