Valley Wars is a fine map to play around in, as Dax, NerfSpade (Spike) and I agreed. However, any map is hard to score a million points in, unless you have a great deal of assistance! Having people (in god mode) standing relatively still while you shoot them in the head with an "allammo" alt fire pulsator helps, but when Spike (or NerfSpade) began to lay trails of 250-point lozenges, with me running behind him like a PacMan trying to gobble them all up, the score began to mount! You may have noticed with a score of 100,000 or more that a number appears on the left-hand side of the screen; I hadn't realized that it is actually the final figure of the score, "wrapping round" from the right-hand side. This was proved when I topped the million, as the last two numbers of the score appeared over there. Above is a general screenshot of the map, while below NerfSpade poses for the (virtual) camera in a corner of the arena. After Dax had to leave, Icedude joined for a while - all in all, it was a fun way to spend the better part of the evening. |
